Four poems for children by Christian Morgenstern are enriched with pictures, where figures can be hidden and moved by hand. A small difference compared to usual picture books, but a great importance for children to have the experience of movable pictures. The “frozen” picture can become alive. Out of the blue comes an elephant or a dog or crows or three sparrows. Moving figures enliven children's imagination, strengthen their self-initiative and stimulate their lively thinking.
